I love the Highlander movies or at least 2 of them. I like the first and the second. The third and fourth to me were big disappointments. Christopher Lambert and Sean Connery were excellent in both movies. I enjoy watching them whenever I get a chance.

Great film..
Highlander is one of those films which is difficult to describe while doing it any justice.
The film is about Connor MacLeod (Christopher Lambert), a man born centuries ago in Scotland. After suffering a fatal injury, it is shown that he is, in fact, immortal. Guided by Ramirez (Sean Connery), a mysterious stranger, who also happens to be immortal, MacLeod is trained to defend himself against others of their kind. The lives of immortals are filled with violence and brutality, as they fight one another, taking their heads, in a struggle to reach the time of The Gathering, when the few who remain will battle to be the last one standing. Whoever wins will obtain "The Prize", a power which could endow the winner with the ability to rule the world, if he so chooses. As is shown in flashbacks throughout the film, the central nemesis of MacLeod in this movie is a purely evil brute known as The Kurgan (Clancy Brown).
This film, despite being a fairly self-contained story, has, since its release in 1986, spawned three sequels (with another apparently in the works, in addition to an upcoming anime film), an animated series, an excellent live-action tv series (starring Adrian Paul as Connor's relative, Duncan MacLeod), which itself was spun-off into the short-lived Highlander: The Raven.
This "Immortal Edition" DVD is a wonderful tribute to this wonderful film. Beyond that, though, it also pays its respects to the band who provided the music heard throughout the movie...the truly magnificent Queen. In addition to bonus materials on DVD, this edition of Highlander also includes a CD featuring three of the songs Queen provided for the film.
If you are looking for the definitive edition of Highlander (at least until the companies think they've come up with a new spin and put out another version), there can be only one. This is it.

I love this film! The plot is very unique. The scene wherein Connor was having a sword fight with someone and he just doesn't die was really funny!
