Are you an empathic person?

Some people say: "If the problem is not mine, why should I care?" 
This is already a very clear indication that a person who thinks so, is not an empathic person, right? But unfortunately, the world is full of them out there.
The good news is: this doesn't mean they are bad people, only that they can't create an easier (or faster) connection with the problems of others.

I sure hope I'm not one of those people! I do care about others, but I probably don't help every chance I get when I really should.

I'm always looking to see if I can be of any help to someone else. I think that is what God wants me to do.

It totally depends on the situation, I am sometimes empathic and sometime uncaring. I do care about others though most of the time. I would give myself a 75 on the empathy scale.
