Disabilities that surrounds us are getting to a choking point, We Just cant prevent it all from bursting out. The relatives of these people with disability always carry the weighing balance 24/7 to keep the emotions of the victim and theirs at equilibrium admist the SAVVY attitude of the chaotic world we live in. HOW MUCH OF IT CAN WE BEAR? HOW MUCH OF SMILES CAN WE INPUT? DOES IT WORTH IT AFTERALL ? CAN WE BE BOLD TO TELL VICTIMS HOW WE FEEL? DO WE FEEL BAD TO CORRECT THEM ADMIST THEIR CONDITION?

I think that we need tolerance, deep understanding, and compassion. I know that there are people that are judgmental and and insensitive; they are easy to judge at at the same time, they make these people a laughing matter.

@LLavish Very sad. I hope one day, those people that are lacking with it would realize to put their selves in the shoes of that person.

I have a cousin who is deaf and dumb from childhood. I never ever acted rudely or harshly with him.

@LLavish There are people out there with disabilities and they are some of the nicest people I know and then there are those that are bitter.

I am someone with a mental disability and I know first hand how cruel people can be. Most of the time, people are afraid of the things they don't understand so instead of trying to learn, they will ridicule and judge unkindly. I always try to teach people about my disability in order to help get rid of the stigma that comes from having a mental disorder. We are not all crazy psychotic individuals, we just understand the world a little differently.

@LLavish I've written about my disability here on mylot. I stopped being ashamed of something I have little control over and started trying to educate people willing to learn about it. :-)

There are some parents with sons with disabilities that threat then just like a normal kid, I admire that because I find if better for the kid to grow up felling normal and not thinking that they can't do what they want to do in life... I bet it can be very difficult to keep a smile and a positive vibe around them when you see your kid having difficulties in something that maybe a kid without disabilities would do easily, but I think we as the ones taking care of them should encourage them to keep going, we can all do wonderful things, maybe today feels rough and difficult to move on and show our relative with disabilities that we are there for them, but we should get up and be there to support them!
