My Crochet Today- Shawl

I had to give myself a break from the sweaters i've been working on. The one right now is just so repetitious that i was getting bored. I want to do something different, so i looked on you tube for a shawl pattern. I 've been seeing a lot of people making one called a virus shawl (not sure how it got it's name) but the pattern looked like the changed i needed.
I chose an ombre yarn with different shades of gray that worked up very pretty.
Now to work on the sweater again.
What do you do when you get bored with a project?

i just read about an 11 year old boy who's been crocheting since he was 5, self-taught. here's his instagram account. you might get ideas from his creations.

That is absolutely beautiful! I never buy anything for myself but I would buy this if I had the money. Wow!!
