Was the Exclusion of MS Dhoni from ICC player of the year Fair ?!!

MS Dhoni has been consistent through out the year and has scored 55 average this year. The inclusion of afridi had surprised everyone as he has not done anything with the bat and the ball. after all Dhoni was at one time the top batsman in the world according to ICC rankings.

yes i think dhoni still has to prove a lot and he has to win matches for the country ...yeah ur right that afridi should not be included into the probables...as dhoni is much better then him.....:)

Compared to conributions from Ponting and Dravid,I don't think Dhoni's contribution should secure him icc player of the year. Dhoni is still young. He can wait and prove his talent
