Another One Jumps On the SUE Train

These headlines have been so common place. Yet another entity or private individual is suing President Trump. This time it's the father of the girl who left the USA to join ISIS. As I signed out of my Hotmail this MSN headline popped up. "The father of the Alabama woman who joined ISIS is suing the Trump administration over her US citizenship and seeking her return. ..." I'm like: Yawn. Another one? Get in line and wait your turn. Everybody is suing Trump! I'm sorry but everybody thinks their case is so important. It's so many of them, the only fair way to handle them is 'First come, first served.'" I always said America has "sue happy people" but our president is helping me prove it! I mean ... I understand how the father feels. It's painful when you have a wayward child and you keep hoping and praying they will come to their senses. When they finally do, they can't get back in the house because the door is locked and they don't have a key! I get it! I totally get it. The story is she left her home in Alabama. No doubt because of the ill treatment as a Muslim, she felt justified in joining a group like ISIS. Yeah yeah yeah. Whatever. Talk to my hand. I was raised up in America. I've been Negro, Colored, Black and Proud, and now I'm being called African-American. No matter. I didn't live in Alabama but life in the USA wasn't exactly a picnic. It's still not a picnic. Nevertheless, I never wake up in the morning even thinking that I should decide to go hook up with a terrorist group in another country. Because life would so much better! Don't give me that crap being a teenager. Teenagers ain't stupid! They do stupid stuff. But then so do adults. Sometimes we make bad decisions and the consequences haunt us for the rest of our natural lives. FACT! So if I'm being honest, quite frankly, I'm not too keen on letting the girl come back home. WHY? Because what you do for one you got to do for all. EQUALITY! She might be truly repentant. But how do we know she's not just a "test case"? She was sent back to see if she could get in. How do we know? Once she gets back in, since she has a baby, she'll just raise her home-grown terrorist on American soil. Let's face it! It's something to seriously consider. I mean ... we don't want to be nursing a viper!! Just saying. Just thinking on it.

This is a difficult one. One the one hand the US has been saying that European Governments should take back their citizens from Syria - which is fair enough and they should stand trial. Meanwhile, the UK Government has revoked the citizenship of another young woman. Not sure if they are using the same reason as the US

Indeed. It is interesting that both of these cases were in the media at the same time. The US is probably looking at the UK to see what they will do. And the UK is probably looking at the US to see what we will do.

@cmoneyspinner Very likely, politicians can be quite cowardly at times... until it is time to take the credit!

@Ronrybs - Cowardly indeed. Don't want to upset those registered voters.
