Laurel Park Police Department Lt. Michael Capps who has 23 years of law enforcement experience was driving home from Charlotte North Carolina on I-26 when he was with his wife and young boy when his assistance was needed to capture one of two suspects who fled from the Polk County Police Officers who attempted to pass stolen paperwork from a credit union.
When the credit union employees knew what was going on, they called the local police.
The two suspects then crashed their auto during a police chase by the Polk County officials on the interstate when one of the suspects ran away from an officer who happened to pass by the auto that was driven by Capps.
Capps who was off duty decided to assist his fellow officers by tackling the one suspect who attempted to flee the police after the auto accident on Wednesday.

I hope so too since Lt. Capps is a great role model for his students.
