Day 44
Acts 28:7-11
Acts 28:7 In the same quarters were possessions of the chief man of the island, whose name was Publius; who received us, and lodged us three days courteously.
8 And it came to pass, that the father of Publius lay sick of a fever and of a bloody flux: to whom Paul entered in, and prayed, and laid his hands on him, and healed him.
9 So when this was done, others also, which had diseases in the island, came, and were healed:
10 Who also honored us with many honors; and when we departed, they laded us with such things as were necessary.
11 And after three months we departed in a ship of Alexandria, which had wintered in the isle, whose sign was Castor and Pollux.
What do you do when you are stranded on a trip without transportation?
Paul used the opportunity to heal the sick in Jesus’ name for which he was favored by the people and was with them for three months until a ship could take them to Rome.
As Christians, you need to take every opportunity to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ. What seems to you as a problem is God’s opportunity.
Paul didn’t waste a single opportunity to show the people the love of God and the power of Jesus Christ. You are to do the same. Use the gifts God gave you to bring His message to whoever will listen. God will shower you with favor when you do His work.
Let’s pray: Father, help me use every opportunity to spread Your gospel. Show me Your favor and direct me according to Your will. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Thirteen books of the New Testament are written by Paul. Yes, he did. Have a blessed day.
