Did you ever get bullied in school ? Hi , i graduated grade school.in 1984 and high school in 1988. So this was a very long time ago .but i do remember in grade school the in crowd the cheer leaders ..one of them named marsha use to make fun of me alot .. Like once she got me in the bathroom and ask to show her how i danced and i did and then she went and got a group of her friends and ask me again and i did and they all.started laughing at me and i was horrified .. She would do little things like that ..to embarrass me ..from.time to time ..and i ended up then harboring hate for her .. So many years later. After id graduated high school i ran into her in a super market and she came rushing up.to.me because i was trying to avoid her and i stopped and she had a big smile on her face and said oh it is so nice to see you how have you been ? And then she introduced me to her husband who.was beside her .. I was shocked i just said hello its nice to see you too .smiled and walked away ..because that day all.that hatred had washed away i realized she didnt even know how much it affected me then and it was nice as an adult to feel that gone ... Did you ever get bullied or made fun of in school ?

I wasnt bullied bullied in school, like slammed into things or my books being dropped. but there were groups of popular and not, and i was not. Which a big part of that was because i was shy, but still spoke my mind and people didnt like that. I was however bullied outside of school, for years.

I'm so sorry that happened to you. She was a true bully and it wouldn't be tolerated in this day and age. That's for sure! You are lucky that you got over it as an adult, but I'm sure the memories will never go away. The furthest I came to being bullied was a boy who loved to pull up my dress after we passed the school grounds when I was in third grade. After 3 or 4 times, I told him I was going to call his mother and tell her. He finally stopped.

@Nana49 My granddaughter was being bullied by a little boy in first grade. He tried to pull up her dress, so she marched herself right down to the principal's office and reported him instantly. It stopped immediately. She's very savvy in knowing what's right and wrong thanks to her wonderful mommy and daddy. My career was as an educator. We did not tolerate bullying at all!

Sometimes young people do silly things and they really don't realise that because they were simply kids and nobody taught them right from wrong about bullying. So when they become adults, it's as if nothing happened. I'm sorry you got to experience that. Nobody has bullied me in school at all. And I don't remember ever bullying anybody. I just didn't talk to kids that I didn't like and they never touched me anyway.

@Nana49 I was shy when I was in elementary but not when I was in high school and more so when I went to the university. Whenever I would feel shy and insecure, I would just tell myself that I was created unique and I shouldn't compare myself to others. I was fortunate that I was never bullied back then though we had a lot of bullies in school.

I stayed with my group of friends. But sometime she sought me out im.not sure why .. I just kept pretending like it didn't bother me and never stood up.to.her i was way too shy ..but i was friends with some of the other cheer leaders and it was only her that did this .. Its weird now thinking about that.. I was painfully shy all thru school and still am shy ..

I don't recall ever really being bullied in school. What you experienced was awful, I'm so sorry. The summer between grades 6 and 7 I was hospitalized and had a brain tumor removed. My head was completely shaved. When I returned to school wearing scarves without any wisps of hair hanging out or a wig, it wasn't hard to figure out that I was bald. The boys said mean things to me. A lot of which I blocked out. I remember running into a guy who was a year ahead of me. We were in our early 30's a and he told me that he had to apologize for a comment he made to me way back when. He told me what he said, and I asked him if I even heard him because I didn't remember. He said that he was bringing it up because he knew that I did hear it and judging by the memory of the look on my face, he felt terrible. Names that I had been called never ever bothered me.

Marsha was very mean and it's worse that she influenced her friends to laugh at you too. I'm so glad you got some closure when you saw her in the store. I was bullied a few times as a kid and teenager. Fortunately not physical bullying but the verbal caused enough stress! I used to walk home from school. When I was in 6th grade, a big, tough, older girl would walk home the same route. If we ever had eye contact, she'd say "What are you looking at, bit**? If you look at me again, I'll kick your a**!!" Other times, she'd follow close behind me and threaten me, make fun of me. After enduring it for months, I just stopped one day, turned around to face her. She looked shocked. I said "What have ever done or said to you to make you hate me?" She never bothered me again.

Im.sorry that happened to you im.glad you faced her and she stopped .. I was glad to get the closure as well ..maybe that was her way of being sorry that she did that.. Im sure i will never see her again Because i moved from my hometown in 1999 and seldom go back .. And that was 2 hours away i recently moved another hour and half away from there so.im.about 3 hours and a half away from home.. But i forgave her that day ..so even if i did see her again it wouldn't bother me and id say hello I don't get on facebook much ..im not a facebook fan and only keep up with my relatives back home Im a very forgiving person always have been Just didn't think about her after school ended til that day..
