Our Sleepover

As some of you might know my mother had major heart surgery.
But she is doing much better and in a rehab center receiving physical therapy in order to function at home
Her favorite show is a western that was made in the 1960's called , " The Virginian". I like it too! Yesterday I went to the center and we had a sleepover.
I took my DVD player over and series 9 and 10 of "The Virginian".
We watched that show, ate and she had to do her medical procedures. It is important to follow the procedures!
We had a good time........ even tho we were in a medical facility and she is not 100% yet.

Nice that they allowed you to have a sleepover. Glad she is doing well. What type of heart surgery did she have done?

Yes it was nice! Thanks. Last month she had to go in and have a procedure done where they ran a tube into her and burned off some growths on the side of her heart twice.
Another one was found this month and while they were in the doctor slipped and poked a whole and she was bleeding severely internally. 
Therefore luckily a specialist surgeon was near by and saved her doing open heart surgery.

@dfollin glad she is okay and didn't need open heart. I had it and I can't imagine having to go through it being older. I wish her all the best with her health.

@Happy2BeMe Thanks! She did have to have open heart surgery when the specialist had to repair that hole that was perfusly bleeding! She is 80 and has other medical issues.
