Jaish-e- Mohammad (JeM’s) terror camp in Balakot subjected its cadres to rigorous motivational drill, which lasted for 8 months to one year, eventually training them to become "fidayeen" for carrying out suicide bombings. During the training, the "fidayeen" recruits were given basic training in weapon handling, jungle survival, GPS, map reading, etc, besides training in religious education.
The Indian Airforce (IAF) on early Tuesday, in a retaliatory move, carried out airstrikes on a JeM's five-star, resort style training camp in a hilltop forest in Balakot after the Pulwama attack, killing more than 350 terrorists, who were planning to launch an even greater attack on Indian Security Forces.

@Missmwngi Yes, the major world religions should be preaching love and tolerance and not hatred and racism.

I'm wondering where all this will lead us to. From India point of view, destroying the training camps can be considered a success but there is a possibility that it might escalate into a full scale war.and then more soldiers and more people will be killed on both sides of the border.

@franxav Yes, you are right - there are chances that it might escalate into full-scale war, where both the sides will suffer heavy losses. But, it was high time and Indian government had to take some actions. Until now, Pakistan has been denying existence of any terrorist camps on their soil. Let us wait and watch!
