High Springs (Florida) Fire Department employee Doug Hope (I seriously doubt he is related to the late comedian Bob Hope) went to the home of an elderly lady when her home had a Life Alert alarm activation in her home last week.
Hope found out that the elderly lady who lives alone had a microwave oven to cook her meals that come from Meals On Wheels. The catch is that the majority of the meals are cold and have to be cooked on a microwave.
Doug decided to go to Lowe's and buy the elderly lady a new microwave oven, pay it out of his own pocket.
He went home with the new microwave, set up the new microwave for the elderly lady and cooked her a meal.
His boss Lt. Kimberly Wilson is impressed that Doug who has many years of experience as a firefighter does that these kind of good deeds in his work since he cares for the people that he assists.

@fluffy69 I am an agreement with you since good firefighters are hard to find in our world.

That is why most firefighters are heroes. They care for the people in their community.
