Judge Poet Not

They often judge the poet
On the words that he thread
Some readers formed his silhouette
In each poetry that they've read
Judge him not at one piece, else you'll be upset
Because his pen can laugh then can bleed
In every second his mind will reset
Truly, you'll never know what's inside his head
In the universe of paper and quill
He can create truth within lies
He can put the soul to nonliving
Some of his creations will never die
Every poesy made was alive
Talked of its own tongue
They'll definitely survive
Even the poet was long gone...

We may not know what is in your head, but we get an idea by what you have penned.

@simplfred No change is permanent, but change is...

But "nothing is constant but change" they used to say.

Some people will like it, the others not. But the truth is, no one will be indifferent
Keep up good work.

I will definitely agree with that. For the poet that alone is a trophy.

Loved this. Really nicely penned. I am one of the poets that sit with notebooks all around and every time inspiration hits I jot it down so when I finally get it online I can edit it and make it just right.

Sometimes, I have no time to edit my work... I can definitely relate about inspiration hits and inspiration choose no time and place so to have a notebook at hand is a wise idea... Gladly, now, we have a phone to save lines wherever we go.
