A Discussion About Collagen

I received this article in my e-mail in-box today. I thought I would share with you....
I have always associated collagen to women with a gorgeous complexion. However, after reading this article, I have learned that it is does so much more.
For example, it is good for everything from gut health to arthritis.
Also, I always thought you could only supplement with pills or capsules, but now I know consuming certain foods and powders is just as effective.
So, just a little FYI on the topic of collagen...

I have never considered collagen. I just use a good face cream for my dry skin and eye cream for those pesky little lines.

Have you ever used Ponds facial cleanser? I used the stuff once and my skin has not been the same. I am not sure why I did not have a good reaction to the Ponds.

I am eating collagen every day for my knees. A doctor prescribed the same to Claudia for her neck. It is not good to eat unless you mix it with yogurt or juice.

A friend of mine mixes collagen powder in orange juice and says she thinks her skin looks better. I bought some, but then I read that it possibly can contribute to kidney stones. Since that's an issue with me, I want to check with my kidney doctor first.
