have you ever read the Wheele of time Series from Robert Jordan?

I have. I think my favorite books are still the first three. And A New Spring, the prequel. They weren't as convoluted and tangled as the later books, and there was still a very linear plotline running through them. Around the sixth book, that all seemed to fall apart.
