Mylotting on smartphones it maybe just Androids has changed. Some good and some not so much.

The one great thing, pro, with mylotting on my smartphone now is: I no longer have annoying ads continually blinking trying to get me to click on them. On many of them the x was so small that is open the ad instead of ex-ing hit out. The larger ads were easier to deal with and they were stable on the page but the smaller ads letting blinking making it difficult to ignore the ad while reading or responding to a discussion. Those banner ads are now located in the top of the page when they are there and they no longer blink. They also have an arrow which can be pushed upward to eliminate the ad or downward to look at. One con or bad thing is: The whole notification list no longer loads and the cut off point seems to move at will. I used to be able to access all or almost all odd my notifications so I'd I wanted to work from the bottom up I could. Now, that is more difficult. For one thing only about ten to fifteen notifications load into a page. And it's I start from the bottom sometimes the one I just clicked on won't load again so I can delete it, another one takes it's place. Eventually, the first will show again but then I have more to remember to delete later. I'm sure having less is better for my phone, but it's harder to work with and means that I might have to do better staying caught up to be able to better access the older ones. This is an annoyance especially now when my computer it's playing hide and seek again. This one isn't a pro or con it just is: When I open a post/discussion and the image or ad doesn't load immediately I need to remember to scroll down a bit to find the beginning of the discussion. Many times I'm looking at the blank, white space under the title for several minutes thinking the words will appear there. I'm guessing this is fairly new since otherwise I'd be used to it by now. Anyone else ever notice these changes and are they new in all smartphones it just Androids or just some phones perhaps?

Do you use a smartphone when mylotting at all? If so what do you like relating to my points above? I'm sure everyone opinions won't match mine on what I like and don't like and even though the notifications are very limited at least each page loads fairly fast.

@louievill agreed and they are better now than they were so that's an improvement.

I like being able to use mylot on my phone but it is much more time consuming. It's nice to be able to lay in bed and mylot with my phone though so when I don't have time to be on my tablet I use my phone.

I find my phone a lot easier than the tablet ever was, but even though the desktop is the best, sometimes my keyboard has a mind of it's own on there too which is annoying. For that, though, it doesn't do auto correct, but instead it adds on a lot of extra letters like it's stuttering. I can't figure out why it does it either. But, when I need to keep my feet up then my phone is my only option.

I have heard this from others, saying the phone is not a good place to do myLot. I am still old fashioned and still don't have a phone except one attached to the desk. When I travel I take my iPad.

I still have landline at home. Three phones are cordless, but we still kept one plugged right into the jack. That one is in the basement. If and when the computer isn't handy, the smartphone is the next best thing to mylot with. I did use a tablet for the first year when I still had a dumbphone, but honestly, both guess at what I want to say and typing or swipe typing is easier on the phone than on the tablet, plus the phone fits in my back pocket and charges faster, so I opt to use that. I rarely use my tablet anymore. I use the phone mostly when I have to elevate my feet or be away from home. I don't do facebook, nor instagram, nor other social media sites. I mainly mylot or take pictures to use later. So, even though there are con's at least I can still use it for mylotting with.

The more annoyances I read about smartphones, the happier I am that I do everything on my computer.

@just4him My husband doesn't use his for anything online either. But, I do and I like doing so.Any device can be aggravating at times and not when we have all the time in the world either. Actually, cars can be aggravating too.

Yeah except when the computer decided to do it's own thing at least I can still mylot on my phone. The changes seem to be mylot orchestrated not originating from my phone and overall the changes are fine if one can keep fairly current work their notifications. If you ever do get a smartphone it sounds like I-phones allow more notification pages to load.

@WiseGhots how many notifications are you able to access our pick from without first refreshing the page? I used to see all of mine and now I can only access the most recent twenty.

So you have an Android or iPhone? If an iphone, it seems like you can still see all the way to the beginning of them, but on an android phone, it's only showing the most recent twenty or so. I used to be able to see them all but not anymore. @dya80dya
