Tremendous is the power of the WORD, thus it is good advice to judge no one till you hear him speak.
That is actually from the liturgical readings this last Sunday before the season of Lent.
We hear people express their opinions on various issues on all subjects under the sun. We listen to priests deliver homilies, politicians explain their stand on particular laws, leaders and economists on how to feed the world population through globalization, and so on.
This is how we weigh in our thoughts and make judgments on what is happening around us.
A man who speaks the truth has a kind and compassionate heart. A man who professes profanity and spreads confusion has evil in his heart.
What comes out of the mouth comes from the heart.
Now we can pass judgment.

You're so right. "Out of the overflow of the heart, the mouth speaks." Matthew 12:34.

Yes. In the Sunday Gospel, it was Luke 6:45.
'The good person out of the good treasure of the heart produces good, and the evil person out of evil treasure produces evil; for it is out of the abundance of the heart that the mouth speak'

That is so right so true people need to think before speaking.

Thinking, studying, understanding, meditating, relating to people - one must enhance one's self with knowledge. In the process of so doing, there is an awesome fear that humbles man and propels him to acknowledge the greatness and glory of God . Only then would he know he has achieved wisdom.
When finally they speak, you would know that what they say comes from their heart.
