Three Gorges Dam and Lake in China

Depending on exactly how we measure, the Aswan\n Dam in Egypt or the Three Gorges Dam in China is the world's largest. We visited both in our travels. The most enjoyable was Three Gorges. About 250,000 were moved from the place where the Three Gorges Lake filled the area. It is a really beautiful and interesting; here water that is hundreds of feet deep covers where about a quarter of a million people once lived.
