Buddhist Monks in Shanghai

There are more Buddhist people in China than members of the Communist party. One of our tour stops in Shanghai was at a very old Buddhis temple. There was one gold Buddha statue there, with many monks in their religious service, as well as shrines and altars for worship. It was a really interesting place to view the work of the Buddhists in China.

I found China very interesting. Turs there are quite cheap Don by the government.

I was in Japan, Korea, Vietnam but never got to China! The 'far east' is an intriguing part of the world--almost as Tennessee was when I moved there from NYC!! LOL

In some ways TN is quite wonderful place, sometimes as awful
