Commission of salesmen

Anyone know the average commission for selling car spare parts or electronic device (to factory) for salesmen with basic salary (typically low). It is just a survey question. Do you prefer to work as salesmen or a office job?

Is it consider low since their basic salary is quite low. Thus, does a salesman job better off or worse off than the office job?
