A tourist who was walking down a street in Los Angeles California on Thursday evening was about to be attacked by a mugger as he was walking toward an Airbnb home.
The mugger was following the tourist who did not know that he was being followed.
When the mugger attacked the tourist who did not see what was about to happen to him, a truck driver who was passing by stopped to chase away the mugger by using a weapon that he took from his truck to chase the mugger away.
The local police managed to take in a juvenile who allegedly attempted to harm the tourist.
The Melrose Action Neighborhood Watch group has mentioned that the area is safe even though there has been a rise in crime recently.

Glad that tourist had someone to save them. That is the saddest thing in this world that young people do not see perspective and do not seek to earn money but to steal from others instead.

That is so true since some people act like the whole world owes them a living.

You are correct since no telling what the criminal had as a weapon such as a knife or pistol.

That is scary. It makes me not want to go out in public unless I have to. Good thing the Good Samaritan was there to help the tourist.

It's good he was a concerned citizen and went to that person's aid.

You are correct since the only way to stop muggings in neighborhood watch areas is to have someone save people from getting attacked by criminals.
