Jason Gasparik is being called a hero for using his wits to use the power of social media to try to reunite a lost Chocolate Labrador Retriever named Roxy to her owner after she was running in the streets of Charlotte North Carolina on Thursday. Jason managed with the help of a few other people to have Roxy get inside his auto so he could try to use the power of social media to find Roxy's owner who was driving around town looking for his best friend. Jason then came up with an idea to attract attention to locate Roxy's owner by having a cardboard sign that was written in ink "Do You Know This Dog?" on Saturday as he stood on an intersection for three hours. Roxy managed to reunite with her owner who is senior citizen named Ed who was driving around the neighborhood calling out her name. Ed asked a woman who was walking her dog if she had seen Roxy. The woman who received text messages from Jason told Ed where Roxy was located. Ed managed to contact Jason to meet him at a local parking lot to reunite Roxy with his owner. Ed and Jason are now best friends after Ed reunited with his pet after two days of missing her.

That is so true in Jason's case to use a sign to locate the owner of the dog.

That is true since Jason did what he could to locate the owner of the dog by using his wits to use a cardboard sign to locate the owner of Roxy.

Silly Roxy for getting lost and glad she got back home. Nice for Jason to help out and nice for Ed to get a friend.

These kinds of stores only make it in the end of regional newscasts.
