Can you lick your elbow with your tongue?

It’s a funny idea to lick the elbow. What is the purpose? Anyway I had tried but I couldn’t get it for two reasons. My tongue is too short and my arm bone couldn’t be bent. Have you seen the cartoon, Plastic Man before? You think could he?

LoL, it's just for fun and I want to find out how many can do it :) I couldn't do it as well after many attempts. Seriously, I think plastic man can do it easily without any effort. Thanks for the humourous response!

Then, the best time to try licking is shower time. LoL. I belive practise makes perfect too. So, if we keep on trying, we might be success one day. But putting effort in other more meaningful activity is better keep on trying licking our own elbow. :)

Thanks for your nice words and I really appreciate it. It's a very interesting attempt. I believe if you practise by doing this regularly you might able to get it one day. Hi there, make sure that you clean your elbow first in case comes the moment you could tough it lol...

I tried this after reading your topic to see if or not I could. I am sorry to tell you that I am a failure doing so. I guess that I would be able to if my tongue were happy to grow a little longer. lol.

I can't lick my elbow too. I think it's not that easy, that's why I post this question here. But I know there are some people who can do it :) Thanks for your response!

At first I didn't think I would try to even answer this question. But now that I did read this post, I tried doing it. I did reached to a point, I licked the side of my elbow. But not the very tip of the elbow. Does that count? hehehee. Let me know if that counts so I'll be the first to attempt and succeed, if not, oh well, I don't have en elastic toungue, after all. hehehe.

LoL. I am not sure licking the edge of the elbow counts or not. But I am pretty sure that you are the outstanding one :) Because I couldn't even touch the edge of my elbow. It may seem easy at first thought, but after several attempts, you will think otherwise, unless you are 'gifted' with the 'ability' to lick the elbow.

LOL, you are right, that's not as easy as we imagine. After trying it out myself, I find it is impossible for me too! The guy you mention must have a very long tongue. Thanks for the hilarous response!

I cant. I tried as soon as i read the topic. Its physically not possible for me. Maybe this is something like patting your head and rubbing your tummy at the same time...few people can do it!

You are right. Not all people can do it. It's absolutely all right that we normal people couldn't do it. If you can do it easily, then you should be classify yourself as abnormal LoL. Just kidding. Glad that you tried it out. I have made numerous try, but gave it up eventually, knowing that it's kind of impossible for me. Thanks for your response!

Really? Why do you do that? Being special is good. But being abnormal is kind of weird. Just my personal opinion. For me, I wouldn't want to classify myself as abnormal.

Lol. I recognize this from an email that I've gotten several times before. It's supposed to be physically impossible for humans but there will always be anomalies (read in this case: people with incredibly long tongues or people with abnormally short arms in proportion to their bodies) who can do it.

LoL that's right. For things that looks impossible, there is always people who still can do it. For thing like licking your elbow, it's just seems impossible for most of the people. But some mirority of people can still do it. Thanks for your response!

In fact I have read such kind of "facts" before. The fact is you will never lick your elbow with your tongue. No matter how hard you try, it's just impossible

This is crazy, but nv crossed my mind that someone would like to lick their own elbow. Maybe ice-cream dropped on elbow? Btw, i tried licking. It's impossible.

Well I did not think of it also. My friend suggested to me that it will be an interesting discussion in Mylot. Then I posted it and receive some response. I think only very few people are able to do it. It's normal that you can't. Btw, it's quite rare for the ice-cream to drop on our elbow. Thanks for your discussion kimhuey!

No! But to be honest Ive found that I have an unusually short tongue lol. Im pretty sure I have anyway. it was quite a prblem when I had it pierced!

It's normal. Everyone has his or her own specialty. I couldn't reach it too. The best I did is still about 5 cm away. I dare not pierce my tongue, I fear that when it's pulled by someone mischievous it's really painful! Thanks for your response!

LoL. Try it out then, when you have the time. But it won't take too much of your time. Just raise your arm, and try to lick it with your tongue LoL. May be you could lick it? If yes, then you falls in the minority group of people who can do it. Thanks for your response veejay19!

I can't even come close. I can't help laugh SO hard as I am sitting here trying to do it. My tongue would need to be about 3 inches longer than it is. There is another post on the myLot boards about someone who's friend can do it. I can't imagine how crazy long her tongue must be. Lol

LoL. This funny! It's even funny when I am doing that as well when I am starting this discussion! I think people who can do it must possess some special capability. May be a long tounge is a must LoL. Frankly speaking, I haven't met anyone who are able to do it in real life. The mylotter whose friend can do it must be very lucky to meet one and witness it haha.
