So this is not about a love gone wrong. This song reminds me of a person who was a friend, or at least I thought he was. It is not that the lyrics remind me of him. It's just that the song reminds me of a time period when he was always around. I don't hate him or anything, I'm just better off if he's not around.
Pink Floyd - Comfortably numb It's obviously not my song , so i am not going to take any creds for it .. I know the song isn't from the dark side of the moon...

I totally get that, that the song lyrics dont remind you of them but the song itself from that time. As I have many of those songs, with ex friends.

@norcal yes. Thankfully im not on bad terms with most anymore. Just sad things arent the same as they use to be so the songs still hurt to hear.
