I have to give credit to Jose Guzman for either having the courage of his convictions or a person that has an attitude of going for broke to save a member of his family even it is against the wishes of the local firefighters in Pala California. A house fire broke out on Sunday at a multi home in Pala when Jose Guzman disobeyed orders from the firefighters not to enter the burning home since his two year old Pit Bull named Gabbana was trapped inside the home when the dog was hiding behind the toilet during the fire. Jose insisted that his dog is part of his family and even if he had to lose his life trying to save his pet, it would be worth it. Jose must have had a Guardian Angel watching him since he was able to save his pet dog even though Jose suffered from burns in his face and his arms while his pet suffered burns to its nose and paw. The house was burned down to the ground but Jose, his finance and two daughters as well as the pet are safe and sound. They are currently staying at a relatives home until they find a new home from donations from the GoFundMe site.

I remember a former Vietnam War veteran named Robert Kiyosaki who is the author of the book "Rich Dad Poor Dad" saying that when you are determined to do what is right during a tough time and you are prayed up, you feel like a brave warrior facing down your fears of dying in battle.

That is true since the firefighters told him to do not enter a burning building.

I agree with you since it takes a go for broke mentality to get inside a burning home and rescue a pet.

I'm glad he made it, but that would have been a really sad story if he had not. I mean, I love my dog, but I would hate to lose my husband because he ran back into a fire after him.

That is so true since risking a life for a pet against the wishes of the firefighters is not worth losing a life.
