Ernie Andrus is living proof of the saying "Age is just a number" since he is 95 years of age.
Andrus who served in the U S Navy during World War II is the oldest man to run a cross country run from San Diego California to Saint Simons Island Georgia back in 2016. He was 93 years of age at that time.
Andrus runs three times a week to stay in great physical shape so he is capable of running another cross country run again.
His first cross country run in 2016 lasted three years, he hopes to complete his next cross country run before he turns 100 years of age. Don't bet against him.

My eldest aunt, who is now 102 years old, up to a couple of years ago swam a lot at my brother“s pool. That pool has cold water and it is quite large. Incredible people!

It is amazing that people who are senior citizens enjoy taking on challenges that deal with walking or swimming despite their critics saying they are too old to enjoy life.

@Deepizzaguy The younger people who do not get near older people are losing a lot.

I agree with you Ernie will need all of the support he needs to compete his mission one more time.

Some people are incredible ! Have you heard of Robert Marchand ? He is still track cycling at 107 years old, and the international cyclist union do not want anymore to probate his performances, because they are afraid that he could die on a track. I envy people like him or this veteran.

Sorry that I never heard of Robert Marchand. His story is incredible since the ways to keep on going doing what people enjoy doing despite their age which is the reason they live such long lives.
