The Day After the Night Before

Hello my friends!
I’m a bit later arriving here than usual, due to the fact that I slept late this morning after partying hard last night at my brother’s birthday dinner. We all had such a wonderful time!
A group of us played doubles tennis this morning and went out for breakfast afterwards. I couldn’t quite take the slamming of the tennis balls against my racquet, but two cups of black coffee helped quite a bit at breakfast. I’m on my third cup right now, for obvious reasons. 
I just cancelled dinner plans with friends tonight. I can’t take another night of eating and drinking after last night. I intend to read and watch a movie tonight with my hubby.

Those mornings after the night before could be quite taxing. I have had those in the good old days.

@allknowing My husband and I have done the same when traveling. Some hotels are so nice, that you don't want to leave them. lol

I'm glad you took some time to relax, after so much fun from last evening. We took a trip to my daughter's house and today(Mon) I'm tired out! It's my day, to sit and relax at home:) As you said, maybe a movie with my hubby

My wild partying days have come to an end. I needed that day of recuperation like an old lady.
I hope you are enjoying a restful and relaxing day. I had a huge energy burst this morning, so will take it easy the rest of the day. Hubs is going to make dinner tonight, so that's a plus.

@kobesbuddy I don't like eating alone. Fortunately, these days my husband is always around for dinner. Not so when he worked, but the kids kept me busy. We eat dinner out a minimum of twice a week, and often breakfast out. I love to dress up and go out to dinner. Glad you go out, too.

@DianneN Jay needs to pick up our new screen-door in Saginaw tonight. This means, I won't be cooking today:) I don't mind cooking, but I do enjoy a dinner out about once a week.

@Spontaneo We haven't been able to celebrate my brother's birthday until he moved to Florida for the winter. Now we enjoy being together. I do miss my kids and grandchildren terribly.

Glad to hear you had a good time. Sorry to hear that you had to pay for it in the morning! I can't drink anymore at my age. New Year's Eve is the only time I have something to drink...usually champagne. Reading and watching a movie as you said sounds more like my speed!

Hey I'm glad you took a good time. Today I came back earlier from my mom, I do not need her anymore, she got out of bed, so I prepared the house, put everything to wash, clean ... I will spend the day with my family tomorrow. And my mom will visit me on Monday or Tuesday

It is indeed hard to wake up early the next day when you had a late night partying before that.
Usually, i will oversleep and not do anything early or call the office that I will be on half day ior report after luncb to work insted.

However, we do have some great ones in Asia too.
