NBA fines Hornets' Jackson $20,000

The NBA fined New Orleans Hornets point guard Bobby Jackson $20,000 on Monday for verbally abusing officials and failing to the leave the court in a timely fashion after being ejected. Jackson was tossed in the third quarter of the Hornets' 85-73 loss at Dallas on Saturday night when he was hit with two technicals. He protested a foul call with 2:18 left in the period and had to be restrained from going after referee Derek Richardson by teammates, who pulled him toward the locker room.
