Madeline Green who is a kindergarten teacher has found an unique way to encourage her students at South Lexington School in Lexington North Carolina to have a go for it attitude in developing their reading skills. Six years ago Madeline purchased a mixed Labrador male dog named Sammie to encourage students to have a great time learning how to read and not afraid to make errors in taking baby steps in their reading courses by not making any mean comments to the students. Madeline purchased Sammie after he was trained to be a service dog for a ten week period when he was a puppy. It is nice to see that service dogs are being used to assist children develop reading skills at a young age without fearing being judged for making errors.

@kepweng That I know. Most schools won't allow dogs due to so many being allergic or the fish of getting bitten.
