I had planned on sharing more here today, but does sometimes get in the way, both the good and the bad, but that’s just the way it is. I did manage to get a couple of posts in though and make a few comments so that’s a plus, I had promised myself I’d be more active here, but I am currently working on a nonfiction book With A Little Help which I wrote about in a previous entry so let me tell you about the Novel I am working on. Broken Beginnings actually has kind of dual storylines which I didn’t know until I was about a dozen chapters in. At the opening of the book a madman runs Naomi and Nadia off the road causing an accident that leaves both of the best friends, (Naomi turned eighteen that very day) with life changing injuries but the story is as much Naomi’s Grandmother’s story as it is their’s. Bubbe (Grandmother) had survived the Holocaust and though she has been gone for four years as the story opens, her journals once again bring her to life, making Naomi realize that within her she too has the strength to fight, that despite everything she can continue to embrace life.
