Do babies remember past life..???

This is kind of a charming belief, and I am really not sure how many would even agree to that. When I was a kid and my baby brother use to smile while sleeping, my grandma used to say he is dreaming of his past life and therefore he is smiling. I used to believe it then. But now, all grown up and since my mind can question, I really wanted to know it's kind of true or is it just the myth. Though this thought that babies do remember their past life is kind of interesting...
