My Birth Stone

I was born in December & have three. Turquoise, tanzanite & zircon. Lovely as they are, I prefer the one for February. It's amethyst. It's more of a purple. Which is my favorite color. Though, tanzanite & zircon have purple options. Do you like your birthday stone(s)? The pic is of turquoise.

They are beautiful shades, and different times or moods I'll wear them. I prefer darker shades, but I bought pastels and I look younger when I wear pastels. Semi precious stones and precious stones have different benefits, too. Here's but only one article about it:

@oahuwriter Thanks for that article. I know that there are stones that have different healing properties. I prefer darker colors as well. That's interesting that you mentioned Sedona. A friend of mine had talked about it the other day. They had been there years ago. I live in NorCal. A couple of hours north of San Francisco. We do have a bead shop here. Haven't been to it yet. I'm just starting to learn to make jewelry, so, will probably check it out some time.
