Cheating is accelerating in British universities and foreign students are driving it. Students from outside of the European Union studying here were four times as likely to cheat in exams and coursework than Brits. At Queen Mary University of London 75% of postgraduates found to have plagiarized were from overseas with a third from China. A not so revered university in the Midlands, Staffordshire University, saw more than half of cheaters were international students, who make up just 5% of the students. Approximately 50,000 students at British universities were caught cheating in 2017.
An investigation by The Times of London over a three three-year period found that cheating was at its highest at the University of Kent, with nearly 2000 cases of cheating discovered. The University of Westminster followed closely behind with 1,933 cases, and Oxford Brookes University had 1,711 cases. Incredibly only one in one hundred caught are kicked out!
The cheating is mostly buying essays online from exam factories, The universities are turning a blind eye as they need the money they get for every kid who lasts the three year course, up to 27 grand. Some tutors are allowing kids to keep handing in work until 'they get it right', or actually do the work for them in some case to make sure their kids pass. Online pool essay writers can charge a grand for a decent essay. When overseas kids are paying so much to be here and cheating is so easy online then the temptation is huge. Universities have become a business and degrees are for sale. Do you want you future doctor to buy an essay on surgery?

@thedevilinme Well, that's even far more dangerous for education...I hope the eminent institutions doesn't fall in this category.

No it is better to study because if you don't study what courses you take then you will find it hard to perform when you start to work using that diploma.

That is sad! People who cheat and get into habit of cheating don't go very far in life.

.....the genuine guys work so hard and the cheaters find some ingenious technique to outsmart the invigilators (even the most astute ones) and pass away with flying colors.
