A week ago, a very strong event occurred in Venezuela, there was a national blackout due to disinvestment and maintenance in the last years of service. Imagine a whole country turned off completely for 5 days. On extremely hard days, we lost all communication with the outside world. On the second day without light, people were already starting to despair, drinking water was lacking and food began to run out. The despair of the people was beginning to be felt and the looting of the shops was quite intense. It was a really strong experience. Have you experienced any catastrophe?

Hi, @ edevis18, it was a terrible event due to an intentional lack of maintenance and I even thought that the system was intentionally turned off thinking that it would be simple to reconnect it, but ignorance played against it and we had those 5 days without electricity, even today after a week there is instability and blackouts on a smaller scale every day.

Obviously, it is a failure of the whole system in place. Occasional power outages have happened but not on a national scale. It is unfair to the future generation especially - siva
