My ray of hope is TIME's lightning rod.

Been hoping for a long time now, that a millennial shines, and eventually heals the world.
Sick and tired of fake leaders who daily contaminate the globe with trash, both in words and ideas.
I was taken aback when I heard of this young lady from New York, for she was spontaneously answering questions sensibly. And she is just my daughter's age. WOW.
Been in an intense verbal battle with some male misogynist regarding the abilities and capabilities and principles and isms of this young lady.
Oh well, here she is, TIME magazine's PHENOM.

Yes, Valerie, I like her very much. My own daughter is also as outspoken. When my daughter was beginning her work on disaster sites such as Tacloban (Typhhon Yolanda was the very first super typhoon that hit the Pacific), and Zamboanga and Marawi (cities penetrated by terrorists), I was ballistic telling her the measures they were implementing for the victims and the cities are lacking in study and scope. My daughter said. Ma, let me do my job. I conceded and saw the results of her work. Am proud.
Hoping we could allow the young people to expand their horizons and not be deterred by our old fashioned ramblings. I did my best to look from their eyes, and I see they have hope for their future, that is why they are passionate.

Although not everyone agrees with your views, I am glad that opposing opinions are presented in a calm and respectful manner.

Gratefulness is in the heart, for people of courage who offer their opinions and viewpoints and ideas in a civilized manner. Language, once spoken, can never be retrieved. Apologies could be asked but the scars may never disappear.
Thus I always tell people, like the juvenile, not to be hasty in their judgment, especially if what they say could destroy the integrity of another person.
Thank you, LindaOH, for your kind understanding, and the gentle manner of your advisement,

@LindaOHio Generally, yes, mylotters are kind and respectful. But there are arrogant ones, too, who assert superiority through condescension. We can personally block these mylotters and report their unbecoming language to admin.
I like mylot very much. I hope you do, too.

@eileenleyva I have noticed on this site that, for the most part, people are not mean and spiteful. It's a refreshing change.
