The doctor has confirmed that my father cancer has spread to whole upper body based on the bone scan result. The scientific name is called advanced prostate cancer with bone metastatic. The treatments for his current situation is a calcium tablet and an unknown tablet that control the cancer for daily basis and required injection once every 3 months to control his body hormone. Although he still live as usual without any difference except a little tired but I just worry to lost him in a sudden.

Oh my goodness! We have a friend in exactly the same situation. His prostate cancer has spread to his bones and he gets the calcium pill and an injection once a month to control his pain. Why don't we pray for each other's loved one? I know God is still the Great Physician and I'll pray for your dad and your family.

So sorry to hear that. I think as early as you can see and talk to him, try to be more caring and loving to him. I think this is what is good about the disease it gives us time to do and love the person dear to us. Cancer is such a pain to bear in a family. It could drain you both emotionally, physically and financially and there is really no guarantee for a cure although some miracles can happen as well in the process. I have seen many who survived it and lived longer but I also saw many that perished because of it. My mom survived a good ten years before she finally succumbed to it. Many are saying she lived long having this disease on her.

Thanks for your sharing. I hope with the injection given by the doctor, his PSA level is able to reduce thus this prove that the treatment is effective to my dad. Besides, I hope both of my parents can settle down and planning for their retirement soon.

it does not suffer. Just take a pill and injection once every three month. But he will feel a bit tired.
