Pretty damn inconvenient when I woke up this morning and the faucet was running on empty. Not to mention unfinished dishes.
Good thing we have a drum as a spare but could use on the toilet and watering plants. Now, it's already half full.
We had to go and visit my brother to get some water.
You know I can live with out electricity for days, no water it's really going to make you stagnant.
Trouble is that if there's no electricity then there's no water too because the pumps would be turned off.
But nothing compare to those in the Metro or North who were depending on the Hydro dam for water who clearly had danger of low supply.
Hope that darn tower pump gets fix soon.

Whole world is going through water crisis. Here in my apartment we take measures to save water. So every day water is stopped for few hours in few buildings. We go in turn and we are informed before that to take the necessary steps.

Hello @arunima25 Maybe you need a drum / big tub over there just to have reserves. Good thing there's only three of us here.

@Letranknight2015 I don't reserve so much as it goes for few hours and generally from 11 AM to 3 PM and that is a convenient time as people are off to work and children to school. So I just store 2_3 buckets.
We get our turn once in 10 days.

Hello @Sreekala You got deep well? With water pump and filtration you could have your own water supply there. Wished we could have another deep well again.

But ground water level is going down with all overuse. People have to use water judiciously as they do for money.

We have no water problem here so far because our concessionaire is Maynilad not Manila Water, infact Maynilad gave some water to help the latter. Just the same I will start stocking up just incase.

Hello @louievill They were talking about a passage that would solve the water crisis, but I'm not yet into details. I can't believe they are still depending on the dam for water now it's sort of drying up.

Hello @ardoy0731 I hope they got enough buckets to use in the day. Climate Change is just cruel.

People should really try to conserve water because the ground water easily runs out dry due to so many people depending on it. Dams can be built, but it should not be done by foreigners.

Hello @acelawrites By foreigners? what do you mean? is there something that I missed? Well, we've been using deepwell for a long time but it hasn't run out yet.

Thankful that I don't have that problem now. The previous administration of our town provided free water service, though it covered only certain areas. We were lucky to have been included in the service.

@Letranknight2015 yes, they cannot stop the service or else they will be into trouble. They try to extend it to other areas but lack of expertise prevent them from totally implementing it to more areas.

That's true we can live without electricity but without water is much more harder since we depend on it for cleaning and many other things.
I am staying in metro manila where the shortage is strong but so far our place has not been hit with water interruptions so we really do not feel the crisis to this date. I hope we can survive this soon.

Hello @rsa101 People in the medieval ages had survived with out electricity for a long time. The problem there is the water system and how it should reach people.

Hello @shaggin It was frustrating at first but we were not that worry because they brought the water line back on the same day.

@Letranknight2015 i remember when there's a notice of service interruption before, we make sure to put water in all our containers so that we will have something to use until the service is resumed.

Waking up to no water without any warning is horrible. I am sorry you had to go to your brother to use water. I hope it comes back soon.
