In Maithon the traditional boats are used by travellers.

There are both traditional boats and speed boats for boating in Damodar and Barakar rivers in Maithon. Life jackets are put on the travellers. But travellers prefer traditional boats because the slow and soothing breeze make travel more comfortable.
