Bitcoin in itself along other crypto currencies and stable coins is not a scam or a scam site, it's a new technology called blockchain. It's sites that ask people to invest their btc and coins for high profits that scam. Bitcoin in itself is an investment, you buy some and keep it and wait for the price to go up but just like any investment it has risks involved due to volatility or when prices go down. Remember to buy it with money you can afford to lose or hold on to as crypto for a long time incase price falls. If you will buy it with money that's intended for food, for your family, necessities or just loaned then forget bitcoins and cryptos.

@jackchun you are right, I also get some of my btc sat that way but of course free is slower especially now that it is already high. I got some of my satoshis through faucets when the price was only 300 to 400 dollars.

@jackchun that's the good thing about it lol, that's why a lot of people are lured by ICOs with the hope that the tokens would become the next btc, I also bought ETH and dogecoins when they were very very cheap but now like you I just get free to add to what I already have.

It could be a great investment but it takes a lot of risk. It is very similar to currency buying and selling. If you time it right, people make a fortune. If times wrong, people lose a bunch. No risk no reward but you must be aware you could lose most of your investment.

I love Bitcoin/CryptoCurrency but I am not investing cash. I only collect/earn it online for FREE. I earned more than 3 BTC from bitLanders in 2015 and a good amount of STEEM in 2017 which I used to buy other CryptoCurrencies (Ripple, Stellar, Ethereum, etc.)

BTC is as good as cash in our country, we are lucky that the Philippines is a crypto friendly country, we are fortunate that we have sites like coinsph where we can move our bitcoins even small fractions called satoshis and deposit to almost all our major banks and become pesos, buy load and data, pay our utility bills , etc...( had experimented and done these things aleady)

Bitcoin is a good investment, you just need a good entry price point. Many people enter at the all time high price of $20000 and then the price drops (as of the moment BTC price is at $79xx) which means they lost a lot. I suggest to try to invest on other cryptocurrency that is much lower in price then hold it and wait for its price to go up.

It involves a lot of risk to invest in Bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency. But of course, any investment involves risk. If you buy stocks, you also have to deal with risk. Maybe it depends if you are a risk averse or risk lover person. BTC is a high risk, high return investment. The price of btc slide to about US$3k lately, but now it is again rising. No one is certain if the increase will continue or not. In our case, we are mining btc right now. So, I am hoping that the price will skyrocket sooner than later, lol.
