I fetch the kiddos at school after their finals examination. The weather is so hot so we stopped in a sari sari store. A simple treat for the kiddos for doing well in their exams and to lessen the hotness of the weather as well.
My nephew took the Cornetto one, the one with cone and chocolate disc on the top while my niece got 1 pint, chocolate flavor. We ate lunch when we got home then enjoy the ice cream. Hmmm so cold and so good, enjoy it while watching tv.
My niece favorite is chocolate, my nephew is for cookies n cream while I like vanilla, rocky road and mango. How bout you guys, what is your fave ice cream flavor.

wow, final examination? Then the kids could have a long vacation?

@ardoy0731 OMG....2 months? Just like summer vacation between July and August here. Then the kids go back to school in June? Isn't it much hotter in that time? I wonder why set a long vacation in April and May? Is there any festivals or something to celebrate?

last week i bought ice cream from the sorbetero (ice cream vendor) pushing his cart. i was strawberry and cheese on the big cone, 20 pesos, and i was surprised how good the combination was.

What a fine way to end the schooldays with your kids. I am happy that you even treated them with some cold ice cream very timely for a very hot day to cool you down.
I do have my own preference of flavours and they are many to name some. But my favorite right now is the cheese flavoured and those that are yoghurt base ice cream would be ok for me. Lately the pistachio flavor has taken in my favourites too. Then the old time chocolate flavor will be my all time favorite no matter how it is dark, creamy or rocky road chocolate will always be one of my favorites.
