Went to a homeless shelter yesterday to ....

So Im the local coupon queen .. thats what my husband says I am.. I use coupons alot.. to get things free .. when on sale.. Last weekend we cleaned the closets and things and I had boxes of cloths soaps, shampoos, tooth brushes, deod. combs and hair brushes.. I got all with coupons for free or almost free. So I decided to go to my local homeless shelter to see if they could use them. Boy Im glad I did.. They had recently run out of funds to buy things like that. And loved the big box of over 100 free items I gave them.I aksed them what else they need there.. and they said blankets and jackets.. boy i know i have some off those.. So friday Im taking like 10 blankets and 5 jackets.. I feel so good to be able to help someone .

that is quite a homeless shelter.Our not like that.We have plenty of beds for them.No petition in between.
This is winter only and then come Spring they have to leave.
We have plenty of help there.They still have the main house open till one.
Most business people donate quite a bit.
We are very fortunate to have them to do this.
Mike and I volunteer once a week there.
