It's Finally The Weekend

Good morning everyone. I don't know about you but I am so glad that the weekend is here. I am retired so it's not like I work and look forward to time off. But, my brother does work and I enjoy his company when he is home.
It's a cool dreary morning here and it's supposed to rain pretty much all day. I have to wash my bedding stuff and clean my room. I pick up my room everyday but only dust and vacuum on the weekends. After that, I may get back on mylot or get caught up on shows we have recorded. I'm not sure what my brother has planned except maybe cooking this afternoon. He usually cooks a big meal that will last Saturday and Sunday so that way no one has to cook on Sunday.
Not a very exciting day is it? What's the weather like where you live? Do you have any plans for the weekend?

Your day is still much more exciting than mine! I am confined to the house due to the knee surgery, so I am going to have the most boring weekend ever! haha No, it won't actually be that bad, I have plenty of things to do, and I'll probably try to catch up on all my notifications here on myLot.

@simone10 Yes, I've been feeling great! The pain in the knee has been very minimal so far, and I'm already up and walking for short distances without the aid of crutches. The goal is each day to be able to put more and more pressure on the leg to help kickstart the rehab process. I'm already doing some of the stretches that are supposed to start tomorrow, although I'm taking it easy and not trying to push myself too hard.

I like relaxed weekends, but I'm retired too, so every day is a weekend day. However, today I'm very happy it is Saturday. Though when I went to bed last night I thought it was Sunday today. I've been on Saturday for most of the week. I even had the Sunday thought this morning when I opened my eyes. So, I'm very happy Saturday is here to get me straightened out.
