This story sounds like something that would be featured in a motion picture. However this story is real since a drunk driver who allegedly drove a Jaguar down a sidewalk in the Crown Heights neighborhood in Brooklyn New York named Andy James who was armed with a gun and was drunk had hit five autos without hurting any pedestrians before some Good Samaritans managed to tackle the driver after he crashed the fifth auto. An off duty Coast Guard person recorded the incident and chased down the suspect after he tried to flee his Jaguar auto after his last crash. The Coast Guard person and a few members of the Crown Heights shmira managed to pin down the suspect before the local police took the suspect to a local hospital before being taken into custody.

Good for the heroes. Another idiot learns the hard way to not drink and drive.

The driver will learn a very harsh lesson on the dangers of drunk driving.

I agree with you since someone who drives an auto on a sidewalk is a very dangerous person.
