Have You Ever Given Up? / myLot

when I was a child, I had to given up some intresting games that my parents didn't allow and expensive toys that I cound't afford, but I would forget it soon. Child's mind always simpler than adult's. When I grew up into adult, I realized that I often hesitated to give up. Recently, the idea appears up again when I got a bad score while I learned someting, because I'm not sure wether l can learn it well and it really takes a lot of time. Have you ever given up? How do you convince yourself not to give up.

I have never given up. I figure when you want something do not give up until you have it,

Yes but it depends on the level of consequence if I should give up or not.

I gave up tons of my toys when i was no longer a kid too. I really loved my Barbie that can bend her joints

My mom said i could buy a new and better one when i get a job, but until now i never bought one because Barbie's are not as good as they were when i was younger

Yes, stress is a big reason for give up.

I loved writing stories since when I was young. I gave up after high school due to low self esteem. Right now as I have been doing a lot to develop self confidence, I want to go back to writing creative stories.

Confidence is really important, I also lack confidence, and I try to change it. By the way, what kind of creative stories do you want to write?

When you are doing something that you love and then someone discourages you feel like giving up that what happened to me before but now I can't give up so easily
