Are we too depended on the internet?

Hello everyone, So the question is: are we too depended on the internet? Sometimes I think about it, what I am going to do if I lose the internet. I believe that internet is an amazing invention and it helps billions of people. Also a huge amount of companies are online. So what if internet dies? I think that the whole financial system will collapse. What is your opinion?
