It's very surprising how other people can become when you get to know them more. I have this friend who looks very angelic and just quiet all the time. She doesn't look as if she can even hurt a fly. But as I get to know her, it seems that she is turning into something or someone else. Maybe she is just being comfortable already that is why she is now unmasking herself from an angel to a devil. All about her was just spelling the work M-E-A-N!
I don't judge people especially if I mingle with them everyday. But this girl is one of a kind. In my 37 years on Earth, I have never met anyone who can be as mean, selfish and bitter as she is. Seems like she's turning to be a sociopath already. So I have decided to just ignore her because I don't want to be stressed out with negativity that's in her. It can be mean as well to do that to someone but I guess it's for the best.

How did you come to believe she is a "sociopath"? Perhaps she is not anti-social but more of a socially awkward person who is uncomfortable with people. A loner or introvert who considers you a friend and is expressing all her frustration and bitterness about her lack of a social life.

I am a Psychologist by profession so I can tell that she is a clinically sociopath. She likes making friends to people then attack them on their behind. I guess the term in our place is that she's plastic. She did something bad to one of her friends that caused her to loose her job.

@cherriefic _Manipulation for self-serving interest is inherent in human behavior. Depending on the nature or activities in our interaction with other people, some level of dishonesty cannot be avoided. It might be base on our position in a hierarchy, a desire not to offend or even in the belief that we are doing it out of love. I think a true sociopath is one bereft of empathy.

I agree. I guess we all have to experience it first hand to learn.

@cherriefic I agree. But karma will catch up with those kind of people.

True. It's sad that other people can be very mean but looks nice outside.

Maybe she's had some trauma in her life that makes her that way. Maybe someone treated her really badly. Regardless, maybe it's better to distance yourself from her...unless you want to talk to her about it and maybe get to the root of her problem. It's your call.

Maybe that's the case. She seems to be nice at first but once you are close to her, she will just push you away. But I just choose not to associate with people like that. I already have enough problems to deal with.

It's really hard to tell. Now I know why older generations were telling us to choose carefully who your friends will be.

I think that's the best thing to do if you can't dance with a person anymore....

True. If you cannot deal with that person anymore, better to just stay away I guess.
