One kayaker who fell into the Cobbetts Pond in Windham New Hampshire on Tuesday is thankful that a Good Samaritan who assisted the kayaker who needed some help when he fell off of the kayak and was asking for someone to get him back on the kayak. The neighbor must have called the authorities to report the incident since the Windham firefighters arrived wearing cold weather suits in their attempt to rescue the victim from drowning. The Good Samaritan was able to pull the victim into the boat while the firefighters were able to get the boat and the kayaker to the shore safe and sound. The kayaker refused to be taken to the local hospital since he was in great condition physically even though his mental state must have been shaken up by his experience in the cold pond. The firefighter have issued warnings to people to be careful when they enter a body of water even though we are in the Spring season.

Do not gamble with dangerous water conditions during the spring time when there is still cold weather in the area.

I'm glad he's okay and a Good Samaritan came to his rescue. Spring is not an excuse to act stupid this time of year. The rivers and ponds are just thawing and people need to be aware of the dangers.

You are correct since the bodies of water in icy regions are not ready for swimming at this time.

That is true that an alert neighbor assisted the victim to get back on the kayak and come home safe and sound.
