Elyse Fulton who lives in Lucas Texas is one happy cat owner after someone found her cat Fergie in the neighborhood last week. Fergie was a kitten when Elyse took her cat to a close friend to take care of Fergie while Elyse was going away for a while. Elyse was sad when she found out that Fergie vanished under the watch of her close friend 10 year ago. Since Fergie had a microchip, a concerned animal lover found Fergie in the Lucas area took the cat to a local veterinarian. When the veterinarian was able to locate who is the owner of Fergie due to the microchip in her coat, Fergie returned to her owner after a 10 year separation.

You might want to correct your title (and feel free to delete my comment) to reflect that you are writing about a cat not a car.

Wow, thats very long! Thats the advantage of having a microchip and wearing collars, they can easily locate their owners. But how come ten years?

That is a good question since the cat may have been living with another owner that did not know that Fergie was a lost cat since it is possible that Elyse did not report her cat was lost to the authorities.

I think it is best to have the microchip to our pets. I am not sure if we have like this here. I will try to ask a vet about it.

A microchip and an id collar are useful for pets to have with them.

That's great. I really want to get Lily microchipped. She did go missing for three days once.

Microchips for cats and dogs is a good idea since my sister's cat Burt had this bad habit of wanting to take strolls outside of the home everyday for fun.

Ten years of not being home is a long time.
