My Daughter Got a Swell Deal on Rose Bushes!

One of my daughters loves gardening and is always planting flowers. Her latest find was a closeout on rose bushes at the local Tractor Supply. These roses were not the cheap $5.99 bushes, but nice big rose bushes in 5 gallon buckets. They were reduced to a whopping $1.76 each! She bought about 8 of them! Our local Tractor Supply did not have any plants on closeout so I missed that deal. I should have headed over to the store near her. Next time she needs to buy her mom a couple when she finds a deal like this. Have you found any great deals on rose bushes or other plants/trees in your area? Photo: Wikimedia Commons

That really was a deal. We're not gardeners in our family. It's a little early for planting too.

I think they are counting on 100% Spring here now. Back to temps in 70's and 80's during the day. We have a storm moving through tonight and more rain most of next week.

If I am putting in a garden, I like to start with seed vs. plants from the nursery. It's way cheaper that way.

It got me all in the mood to go plant some new things. But it is raining and will be for next couple of days. So, I'll just have to entertain myself indoors.
