What a FULL weekend - Sunday

Sunday morning came way too fast!
Several of my softball buddies made arrangements to get out early and take a little batting practice (BP) at 8:30 am. So my alarm went off at 6:00 am and I actually got up and got moving. Dressed, teeth brushed, coffee made, and truck loaded, I headed to the field about 7:00 am. I wanted to get there early so that I could work on a couple things before everyone else showed up. So I drag my wagon full of balls and my bat bag to the diamond and get started. By the time the first person got there about 8:00 am I had a really good sweat going.
Nothing really special about BP, got my swings in, moved around in the outfield some, and told some old stories.
Back at the house, the better half wants to get some more sun so she twists my arm and we head out back again. The sun was much hotter so it didn't take long for me to say "uncle" and start on my to do list.
Cleaned the back porch off, hosed it down, got my big broom, added some soap, and started scrubbing. I kept looking for those scrubbing bubbles to pop up and do everything for me but that didn't happen. Now it's time to rinse everything off and put everything back where it belongs.
I don't know what got into me, it may have been the sun or something, but I got the great idea of washing the cars. I guess now that I had working windows and doors I thought that I should have a clean truck. Washing the Mini Cooper wasn't hard and didn't take very long but I knew that meant that it was on to the truck - what the heck was I thinking....
So I work my way through washing my truck and finally get it done. Yeah me! What do I do next? I decide I should vacuum it out. By now I'm starting to drag a bit but I got it done. Time to relax - nope! I decide to check the air pressure in my tires. It didn't take long but I had to fight getting the compressor out.
So all that is finally done. I head through the shower, find my relaxing clothes, and place my tired rear end in the recliner. I barely saw 9:00 pm before telling my wife I couldn't stay awake any longer and headed for bed. I think I was asleep before my head hit the pillow.
Sunday is history and it's back to work on Monday.
